Waterproofs:   Don’t forget to wash your waterproof layers, the oils and salts from you sweating along with dirt, grease, everyday wear will block the breathable fabric turning it into a plastic bag making you sweat, or pull moisture through the fabric soaking you when you should be dry.

Follow washing instructions. Do not use normal laundry detergent. The enzymes will reduce the waterproofing and life of your garment.
